😮💨😮💨 We hadn’t even made it home from Brussels when the latest stunt of the “comment prime minister” popped up in front of us. Apparently, there can’t be a single day without everything revolving around this egotistical silk-suited boy, who now wants to abolish freedom of speech as well — with the help of judges who downloaded the TISZA app (or at least were exposed during the data leak). Quite a story, isn’t it?
What a lovely rule-of-law state this would be, this “Thumbelina-land,” where you’re only allowed to write nice and flattering things about the leader — otherwise he’ll have you sentenced by his own judges! Aunt Ursula would swoon with delight…
And by the way, why are lawsuits being launched against newspapers that reported on the TISZA package, instead of against those whose signatures appear on that certain six-hundred-page document? Isn’t that a little interesting?
“So, on the right, it is not customary to resort to all kinds of tricks, so to speak, in order to win elections.”
“One of the most successful national consultations of all time has concluded, in which 1.6 million Hungarians expressed their opinions. Hungarians reject left-wing austerity measures and do not want their money to be sent to Ukraine.
⛔ 98% NO to a multi-tier tax system. ⛔ 97% NO to restricting family tax allowances. ⛔ 96% NO to abolishing tax exemptions for mothers and young people. ⛔ 99% NO to ending utility cost reductions. ⛔ 98% NO to increasing corporate tax.”
Presenting 1.6 million responses as representing “Hungarians” is misleading when over 7 million people of voting age live in Hungary. This means the consultation reflects only a minority of the adult population, not the country as a whole. read comment 😀 math genius……..
Have you already seen the leaked government program of the Tisza Party? According to the documents that have come to light, they are preparing brutal austerity measures, including cutting church funding by nearly forty percent. A real “let the believers support the church themselves” approach — a typical left-wing mentality. I was a high school student in a church-run school during the Gyurcsány government, when church funding was at rock bottom. That system ended very badly. Let’s not make the mistake of choosing a left-wing government again.
(0:00) There is no social group that would not be affected, or would not be hit, by the TISZA austerity package. (0:06) It would take away all benefits, from young people as well—tax exemptions—and from families too. (0:10) They would raise personal income tax, introduce a pension tax, and abolish the 13th and 14th month pensions. (0:15) In five minutes—according to what we learned from László Lengyel—they would abolish them in five minutes. (0:18) So there could even be a dog tax, a wealth tax; it would hit businesses, and the doubling of social taxes would affect everyone. (0:27) I think the key issue is why they are doing this. (0:30) Because, as we said in the previous points, they want to continue the war, and it requires enormous amounts of money. (0:34) Brussels has no money. (0:35) One direction from which it wants to obtain funds is from the member states—it wants to take money from the member states. (0:40) The TISZA leader is a controlled person. (0:41) On command, if necessary—and this is what he receives—he would take the money of the Hungarian people and send it through Brussels into the war. (0:47) The other direction is the frozen Russian assets, which is also a huge mistake on Brussels’ part and raises countless problems and questions. (0:53) But the essence is that Brussels has no money, yet it wants to continue the war. (0:56) We, however, do not want to send Hungarians’ money into the war.

“Brussels’ plan for agriculture is unacceptable.”

This is perhaps the most accurate way to describe what is happening in Brussels these days. They managed to prepare the EU–Western Balkans summit in such a way that the Serbian president did not even attend. No wonder. For four years he has been strung along, yet there has not been a single step forward in Serbia’s accession process.
A familiar situation: “rule of law problems.” Of course, when it comes to Ukraine’s accession, Brussels’ auditors have not identified such problems. President Vučić was right not to assist in this farce. And it is a disgrace for the Union and for the Brussels bureaucrats who convened the summit that a significant number of member states did not even come to Brussels yesterday.
But there will be more hubris today as well. The bureaucrats are vowing that we will not be allowed to go home until Ukraine’s financing is resolved. In other words, the financing of the war.
And this is something we Hungarians will not assist with. And we will stay here for as long as it takes. A few sleepless nights are not the end of the world. They are certainly better than war — wrote Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

🇪🇺 A decisive EU summit is being held today in Brussels.
⚔ The pro-war EU elite has already suffered a defeat even before the Brussels summit: Viktor Orbán and his allies have managed to have the issue of Russian assets removed from the agenda. However, let us have no illusions — this is not a full retreat, merely a change of direction. Brussels will now attack Hungary with even greater force in order to impose an obedient Tisza Party on us — one that would introduce austerity measures and implement Brussels’ war-driven сценарio.
🛡 Hungary needs leaders who stand for peace, so that we can stay out of the infighting of pro-war hyenas!
“Balázs Orbán reminded on his Facebook page that, according to the British Chief of the Defence Staff, even our sons and daughters may have to fight, and more and more families will experience what it means to make sacrifices for the nation. According to the Prime Minister’s political director, as long as Hungary has a national government, this is out of the question.

A háború öl, rombol, a béke épít. A háború drága, a béke olcsó. Brüsszel mégis a háborút választja. Mi pedig újra és újra a békét.
Régi igazság, a háborúhoz pénz kell. Sok pénz.
Brüsszelnek nincs – írta Orbán Viktor miniszterelnök.
Alexandra Szentkirályi claims: “According to TISZA, it is a good thing if pensioners do not live long.” 😱
Alexandra Szentkirályi, parliamentary group leader, said she was outraged by what she described as remarks made by a so-called “TISZA expert.” 🤯
However, it is important to state clearly: Neither TISZA nor any of its representatives have ever said such a thing. This claim was never made, and the statement is being attributed to TISZA without factual basis
An editorial recording made during a decisive EU summit. In Brussels, financing Ukraine remains the top priority. They want to push through joint borrowing and a complete ban on Russian energy, the latter by using legally questionable tricks in order to circumvent the Hungarian veto. These issues were discussed under the leadership of Szilárd Szalai, together with Joca Abkarovits and László Szabó.
❗Let’s not sugarcoat it: this is already part of war preparations in the UK as well❗ No matter how they try to spin it, for me it is clear that when a country’s chief of the general staff talks about “our sons and daughters needing to be ready to fight,” this is not a theoretical discussion, but a prelude to sending our children to war. We will not take part in this, and we will do everything we can to ensure that Hungary stays out of other people’s wars.
Palóc André, spokesperson of the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy, delivered a presentation that followed the usual propaganda script: repeat it, reinforce it, and insist that everything is perfectly fine.
The message is familiar and relentlessly repeated: “Nothing is wrong. You are actually better off.” It works the same way as the chip presentation, where people are told that the cheaper option is better for them, even when their own experience tells them otherwise.
Instead of confronting reality, the narrative is carefully packaged and endlessly recycled. Lower consumption is rebranded as a smart, conscious choice. Financial pressure is reframed as responsible saving. Decline is sold as success — as long as it is repeated often enough.
This is not analysis. It is conditioning.
When everyday reality contradicts the message, the response is not correction but repetition: say it again, say it louder, say it with charts and averages, until people are expected to doubt their own lived experience.
Just like with the chips: you’re told the cheaper one is better for you — and if you disagree, you’re told you simply don’t understand.
That is not communication. That is propaganda.
Lately there have been these comparisons claiming that our consumption is, say, lower than that of others—I don’t know whom exactly. What they fail to mention alongside this is that the savings rate, relative to income, is among the highest in the EU. What does this mean? It means that consumption is also expanding, but people are currently rebuilding their savings. And in fact, when measured relative to income, their savings are not doing that badly either. Again, I’m not claiming that everyone is wealthy or that everything is fine, but it is certainly true that we have managed to improve the real value of people’s savings on average.
Király Nóra (Fidesz): “The silent majority has once again shown its strength. 💪 1.6 million people have expressed their opinion on war plans and tax increases. 🇭🇺”
Context / commentary: This is the same rehearsed talking point repeated over and over — relying on the idea that if you hear it often enough, you will eventually believe it.
