On April 12, we will be deciding not only about our livelihoods but also about our security — the stakes of the election are enormous.

If the Tisza party were to come to power, Hungarian families would have at least one million forints less in their pockets every year. And let’s not forget about the wars, the migration pressure that could rise again, or the issue of gender. It matters who will decide the fate of Hungarians.

In an age of dangers and uncertainty, there is only one safe choice: Fidesz.

There is no need for tactics or tricks — we must speak plainly, honestly, and directly to everyone: on April 12, everyone will be deciding about their own livelihood and their own security. Not about distant, abstract issues, but about things that directly affect their lives.

Minus one million forints every year if Tisza phases out Russian energy and cuts us off from it. It could even be much more money lost if foreign banks and multinational companies are allowed back in, bringing back the kind of unchecked exploitation seen before 2010.

And I haven’t even mentioned the issue of security, migration, or gender — all of which directly and profoundly affect the everyday lives of every Hungarian, as well as the future of our children and grandchildren.

👉 Core Narrative

  • “Tisza = financial loss + danger”
  • “the world = uncertain and threatening”
  • “only Fidesz = security”
  • “voting = a personal survival decision”

👉 Hidden Formula
fear + money + security + enemy image + simplification
→ “if you don’t vote for us → you will live worse and be in danger”

🔍 Influence Techniques (broken down into points)

1️⃣ Existential Fear Framing

👉 Excerpt:
“we are deciding about our livelihood and security”
“an era of dangers and uncertainty”

👉 Technique:

  • elevates the election to a life-or-death issue
  • not politics → but survival

👉 Goal:
➡️ trigger an immediate emotional reaction (fear)

👉 Effect:
➡️ you stop analyzing → you seek safety

2️⃣ False Precision (illusion of credibility)

👉 Excerpt:
“at least one million forints less per year”

👉 Technique:

  • a precise number → feels scientific
  • no evidence → yet still convincing

👉 Goal:
➡️ “this is calculated → must be true”

👉 Effect:
➡️ doubt decreases

3️⃣ Slippery Slope Narrative

👉 Excerpt:
“phasing out Russian energy → financial loss → even more loss → multinationals → economic exploitation”

👉 Technique:

  • turns one decision into a chain reaction
  • every step leads in a negative direction

👉 Goal:
➡️ exaggerate consequences

👉 Effect:
➡️ you overestimate the risks

4️⃣ Nostalgia + Demonizing the Past

👉 Excerpt:
“the plundering before 2010”

👉 Technique:

  • past = chaos, exploitation
  • present = protection

👉 Goal:
➡️ evoke fear of returning to the past

👉 Effect:
➡️ “I don’t want to go back there”

5️⃣ Fear Stacking

👉 Excerpt:
“war + migration + gender”

👉 Technique:

  • separate issues → merged into one block
  • all trigger negative emotions

👉 Goal:
➡️ overload + increase pressure

👉 Effect:
➡️ you feel threatened from all directions

6️⃣ False Dilemma

👉 Excerpt:
“there is only one safe choice: Fidesz”

👉 Technique:

  • only two options:
    ✔️ security
    ❌ danger

👉 Goal:
➡️ eliminate alternatives

👉 Effect:
➡️ narrowed thinking

7️⃣ Personalization

👉 Excerpt:
“you are deciding about your own livelihood”
“our children’s future”

👉 Technique:

  • macro politics → micro personal issue

👉 Goal:
➡️ maximize emotional involvement

👉 Effect:
➡️ not about the country → but “you and your family”

8️⃣ Reinforcement Loop (repetition)

👉 Excerpt:
repeated use of: “livelihood”, “security”

👉 Technique:

  • repetition of key words

👉 Goal:
➡️ imprint in your mind

👉 Effect:
➡️ automatic associations form

9️⃣ Direct Mobilization (call to action framing)

👉 Excerpt:
“don’t strategize… everyone must say it”

👉 Technique:

  • not just voting
  • you become part of the campaign

👉 Goal:
➡️ network-based spread

👉 Effect:
➡️ decentralization of propaganda

⚠️ Overall Picture

This message does not aim to inform, but to:

👉 create an emotional state:

  • fear
  • uncertainty
  • fear of loss

👉 then offer a single solution:

  • “Fidesz = security”

🧩 In short (essence)

👉 This is a classic campaign formula:

financial loss + fear + multiple threats + demonized past + single solution
→ “vote for us, or you will live worse”
