Let’s look at Hungary’s election and the statements of the vile politicians of Fidesz. Turn on the subtitles on the videos and learn from them. Watch which Fidesz figure keeps pushing the hate campaign as if nothing had changed. It’s worth watching, because it gives a very good picture of the past 16 years.

⚠️ One of the most severe energy crises in history is approaching Europe!
According to the head of the International Energy Agency, an energy crisis is looming that could be greater than the crises of 1973, 1979, and 2022 combined.
This could simultaneously mean:
➡️ a surge in oil prices
➡️ a surge in gas prices
➡️ further increases in food prices
➡️ a severe economic shock across Europe
The question is clear: who can protect Hungary in this situation?
Certainly not those who would carry out every instruction from Brussels, abolish utility cost reductions, eliminate protected prices, and make Hungarian people pay the price of the crisis.
🇭🇺 Hungary’s energy security must be protected!
🇭🇺 Hungarian families must be protected from soaring prices!
In an age of danger, only a strong, experienced, national government is capable of protecting the country. That is why only Fidesz and Viktor Orbán can guarantee the security of Hungary and its people.
On Sunday, we are the safe choice! 2 × Fidesz! 🧡💪
1️⃣ Existential fear framing
👉 Excerpt:
“one of the most severe energy crises in history”
👉 Technique:
- threat elevated to the maximum level
- merging past crises → “worse than anything before”
👉 Goal:
➡️ to shock and freeze thinking
👉 Effect:
➡️ you stop evaluating → you seek safety
2️⃣ Doom stacking (layered catastrophe narrative)
👉 Excerpt:
- oil price explosion
- gas price explosion
- food price increases
- economic collapse
👉 Technique:
- stacking multiple negative future scenarios
- no nuance, no probabilities
👉 Goal:
➡️ overwhelm → “everything bad is coming at once”
👉 Effect:
➡️ anxiety → pressure for quick decisions
3️⃣ External enemy framing
👉 Excerpt:
“Brussels’ instructions”
👉 Technique:
- complex economic reality → simplified into a single actor
- “them” vs “us”
👉 Goal:
➡️ combine anger + fear
👉 Effect:
➡️ scapegoating → no systemic thinking
4️⃣ False dilemma
👉 Excerpt:
“who can protect Hungary?”
👉 Technique:
- only two options presented:
- either them
- or catastrophe
👉 Goal:
➡️ eliminate all alternatives
👉 Effect:
➡️ narrowed decision space
5️⃣ Protector framing
👉 Excerpt:
“only a strong, experienced government… only Viktor Orbán…”
👉 Technique:
- fear first → then the “savior”
- classic formula: “problem + solution = same actor”
👉 Goal:
➡️ create emotional dependency
👉 Effect:
➡️ loyalty instead of rational choice
6️⃣ Repetition and simplification (message hammering)
👉 Key messages:
- “protection”
- “security”
- “only us”
👉 Technique:
- short, repeatable slogans
👉 Goal:
➡️ burn into memory
👉 Effect:
➡️ automatic acceptance
⚠️ What matters most
This is not an informational text.
👉 It is an emotional trigger system:
- it scares you
- it narrows your thinking
- it offers a single “solution”
🧠 Why it feels overwhelming
Because it:
- is constantly repeated
- targets the same neurological response every time
- contains no new information → only recycled fear
👉 This is psychological load (your reaction is completely normal)
💡 In short, honestly
This communication:
➡️ is not about what will happen
➡️ it’s about what you should feel
and above all:
➡️ fear + cling + vote
🔚 In one sentence
👉 This is a classic “crisis → fear → savior” propaganda cycle, with heavy repetition and minimal real content.

🟠 Even in an age of dangers, we guarantee Hungary’s energy security.
❗We will not allow a pro-Ukraine government to be imposed on us, which is why Fidesz is the only safe choice.
A weekend news report claimed that in Serbia, in Vojvodina, in the Southern Region, there was an attempt to blow up the TurkStream gas pipeline that also supplies Hungary. What do you think about that?
Well, this is a terrorist act, essentially an act of sabotage, and I believe it is very important that, in line with the Hungarian government’s decision, the Hungarian Defence Forces have already reinforced—on the Hungarian side as well—those strategic energy facilities that are essential for ensuring that we continue to receive energy safely. Due to this unfortunate event, these measures have now been stepped up even further.
At the same time, we can see that massive forces are trying to interfere in the Hungarian elections. Let’s not forget that two years ago the Ukrainians already shut off the Russian gas that was transiting through their territory. As a result, this is now our only alternative route through which gas reaches us. There is no other alternative. So if we lose this as well, we will be in serious trouble.
And it should come as no surprise to anyone that the Ukrainians are keeping us under an oil blockade. The situation is that we must be aware: in the coming days, everything will be attempted in order to replace a sovereign, pro-Hungarian government with a pro-Ukraine, pro-war government favored by Brussels.
But in the end, this is not for them to decide—it is up to Hungarian voters. So on April 12, everyone will decide whether they want a pro-war, pro-Ukraine government, or a sovereign Hungarian one going forward.
🧠 What is happening in this message?
👉 Main narrative
- “we are under external attack”
- “energy supply = in danger”
- “the opponent = pro-Ukraine + pro-war”
- “we = protection + security”
- “the election = an existential question”
➡️ core formula:
fear + energy + external enemy + simplified choice
→ “if you don’t vote for us → the country will be in danger”
🔍 Influence techniques
1️⃣ Existential fear framing
👉 Excerpt:
“if we lose this too, we will be in serious trouble”
👉 Technique:
- elevates energy supply to a matter of survival
- “there is no alternative” → creates a sense of total dependency
👉 Goal:
➡️ trigger immediate anxiety
👉 Effect:
➡️ you stop evaluating → you seek safety
2️⃣ External enemy construction
👉 Excerpt:
“the Ukrainians”, “Brussels”, “they are interfering in the election”
👉 Technique:
- merges multiple actors into a single threatening bloc
- no distinction → “they are all against us”
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a simple enemy image
👉 Effect:
➡️ simplifies the world → “us vs them”
3️⃣ Conspiracy framing
👉 Excerpt:
“powerful forces are trying to interfere”
👉 Technique:
- strong claim without evidence
- invisible, untraceable threat
👉 Goal:
➡️ maintain a constant sense of danger
👉 Effect:
➡️ everything becomes suspicious
4️⃣ False causality
👉 Excerpt:
- pipeline attack → election interference
- Ukrainians → energy shortage → government change
👉 Technique:
- connects unrelated events
- no proven causal link
👉 Goal:
➡️ construct a coherent story (narrative)
👉 Effect:
➡️ creates a “it all fits together” feeling → accepted without criticism
5️⃣ False dilemma
👉 Excerpt:
“pro-war, pro-Ukraine government” vs “sovereign Hungarian”
👉 Technique:
- presents only two options
- eliminates all other possibilities
👉 Goal:
➡️ simplify the decision
👉 Effect:
➡️ forced choice
6️⃣ “No alternative” narrative (TINA – There Is No Alternative)
👉 Excerpt:
“this is our only alternative”
👉 Technique:
- excludes all other solutions
- oversimplifies energy reality
👉 Goal:
➡️ close down critical thinking
👉 Effect:
➡️ acceptance → “this is the only option”
7️⃣ Protector framing (government as defender)
👉 Excerpt:
“the military has been reinforced… so we can safely receive energy”
👉 Technique:
- government = active protector
- military presence = sense of security
👉 Goal:
➡️ build trust
👉 Effect:
➡️ “they are protecting us”
🧩 Overall picture
This is a classic crisis-driven propaganda narrative:
threat → enemy → fear → protection → vote
And what you’re feeling (“nothing matters anymore, just push hatred”) is not accidental:
👉 this communication is not trying to inform, but
👉 trying to put you into an emotional state (fear + threat perception)

❗ If Péter Magyar were to come to power, he would send Hungarians’ money to Ukraine, and austerity would follow.
🟠 Viktor Orbán, on the other hand, stands up for Hungarian interests, which is why Fidesz is the only safe choice this Sunday!
So with Péter Magyar, austerity would come—could this finally be proven? Well, I think this has unfortunately been a fixed point in the Tisza party’s program all along. As I recall, Péter Felcsuti is one of the experts who helped write and endorse this program, in which—somehow—if you add up the total of these austerity measures, you end up with exactly the amount Hungary would need to contribute to supporting Ukraine.
So in my view, if someone puts the pieces together, they will see that Péter Magyar is essentially being pushed onto us from Ukraine and Brussels, precisely so that he can carry out those plans—such as Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and the financing of Ukraine—that Viktor Orbán is simply unwilling to support.
And why is he unwilling? Because it would be bad for the Hungarian people—because that money would be taken out of our pockets and spent on Ukraine instead.
🧠 What is happening in this message?
👉 Main narrative
- “Magyar Péter = taking your money + Ukraine”
- “Orbán Viktor = protection + Hungarian interests”
- “election = the fate of your wallet”
➡️ core formula:
money + fear + enemy image + simplification
→ “if you don’t vote for us → you will live worse”
🔍 Manipulation techniques
1️⃣ Economic fear framing
👉 Excerpt:
“he would send Hungarians’ money to Ukraine”
“austerity would come”
👉 Technique:
- projects a concrete, personal loss
- not abstract politics → your money
👉 Goal:
➡️ trigger immediate anxiety
👉 Effect:
➡️ you stop analyzing → you switch to defense mode
2️⃣ False causality
👉 Excerpt:
“the amount of austerity = support for Ukraine”
👉 Technique:
- links two separate things without evidence
- “if you add it up → it matches”
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a narrative that feels logical but isn’t proven
👉 Effect:
➡️ “this must be true” feeling
3️⃣ Conspiracy framing
👉 Excerpt:
“they want to install him from Ukraine and Brussels”
👉 Technique:
- external forces are in control
- the politician is not autonomous
👉 Goal:
➡️ build distrust + sense of threat
👉 Effect:
➡️ “he doesn’t represent Hungarian interests”
4️⃣ Enemy coalition building
👉 Construction:
Ukraine + Brussels + Tisza = one block
👉 Technique:
- merges separate actors into one
- creates a simple “enemy”
👉 Goal:
➡️ easy-to-understand conflict
👉 Effect:
➡️ no nuance → everything becomes “against us”
5️⃣ Protector framing
👉 Excerpt:
“Orbán Viktor stands up for Hungarian interests”
👉 Technique:
- leader = protector
- implicit: without him, trouble comes
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a sense of safety
👉 Effect:
➡️ emotional attachment to current power
6️⃣ Turning uncertainty into certainty
👉 Excerpt:
“this has already been a clear point”
👉 Technique:
- assumption presented as fact
👉 Goal:
➡️ prevent questioning
👉 Effect:
➡️ ready-made answer → no debate
⚠️ What is the key trick?
This is not evidence-based argumentation, but:
➡️ an emotional chain:
- losing money
- external enemy
- sense of betrayal
- fear
→ and at the end:
👉 “there is only one safe choice”
🧩 In short
This message:
- does not provide data
- does not analyze policies
- does not prove anything
instead:
👉 it tries to trigger an emotional decision

🗣️ A Tisza supporter asked me a question, and I responded.
The situation is that if Péter Magyar were to come to power, the same kind of left-wing governance would return as before 2010: austerity measures, the abolition of utility cost reductions, and the rollback of family support programs.
Where would Tisza get the money to maintain current benefits if Hungarian taxpayers’ money is being spent on financing Ukraine?!
🟠 Hungary needs a leader who can say no to Ukraine, to Brussels, and who always keeps Hungarian interests in mind! That is why Viktor Orbán and Fidesz are the safe choice on April 12!
Through my parents—and through what they experienced—I have a clear memory of the period between 2002 and 2010, when they really struggled under the left-wing governments of the time. I remember how we kept hearing beforehand that there would be no gas price increases, that everything good would be kept, and only the bad things would be fixed. Well, that sounded very appealing.
I would simply like to ask: where will Péter Magyar and his allies get the money to maintain utility cost reductions if they want to contribute to financing Ukraine—since that is clearly what the European Union and Ukraine would expect from them? And where would the money come from for things like utility subsidies, the 13th–14th month pensions, family support, income tax exemptions, or 3% loans?
So in reality, these companies are not reinvesting into the domestic economy, but rather exploiting the advantage they receive through large tax incentives, allowing them to establish environmentally polluting factories.
On the other hand, Hungary has very strict environmental regulations—practically as strict as those in Germany. This can be verified; it is a fact.
Secondly, supporting investments and encouraging job creation in Hungary is important. For example, since 2010, there has been an increase of around one million jobs compared to the period of left-wing governments, which is a significant achievement.
However, once a company has firmly established itself and is producing in Hungary, then in certain economic situations—such as after COVID or during an energy crisis related to war—it is reasonable to expect, as was done with banks and large multinational companies, that they contribute in a form of solidarity to supporting the Hungarian economy. In such cases, there should be no distinction between this multinational or that one, whether Eastern or Western—this should apply to everyone.
🧠 What is happening in this message?
👉 Main narrative:
“Péter Magyar = past + austerity + loss”
“Tisza = taking your money + financing Ukraine”
“Fidesz = protection + stability + money”
“election = a personal livelihood decision”
➡️ core formula:
money + fear + past trauma + enemy image + simplification
→ “if you don’t vote for us → you will live worse”
🔍 Manipulation techniques
1️⃣ Re-activating historical trauma (emotional recall)
👉 Excerpt:
“2002–2010… they suffered… no gas price increase…”
👉 Technique:
- recalling negative past experiences
- wrapped in a personal story (“my parents…”)
👉 Goal:
➡️ emotional trigger (not rational thinking)
👉 Effect:
➡️ you automatically connect the present to the past (“this will be the same”)
2️⃣ False equivalence
👉 Excerpt:
“Péter Magyar = the same left-wing as before 2010”
👉 Technique:
- merging completely different political contexts
- no proof → just assertion
👉 Goal:
➡️ simplify reality: “we’ve seen this → it was bad”
👉 Effect:
➡️ you don’t evaluate the new actor independently
3️⃣ Economic fear framing
👉 Excerpt:
“utility cuts abolished”
“family support removed”
“there will be no money”
👉 Technique:
- visualizing concrete financial losses
👉 Goal:
➡️ immediate anxiety
👉 Effect:
➡️ you switch to defensive mode (“I won’t risk this”)
4️⃣ Unsupported causal claim (speculation as fact)
👉 Excerpt:
“Hungarian money will be used to finance Ukraine”
👉 Technique:
- assumption presented as fact
- no evidence, only a logical leap
👉 Goal:
➡️ construct an external threat
👉 Effect:
➡️ “they take my money → give it to others”
5️⃣ Merging external and internal enemies
👉 Excerpt:
“Ukraine + Brussels + Tisza”
👉 Technique:
- combining multiple actors into one block
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a simple enemy image
👉 Effect:
➡️ all “opponents” become one category
6️⃣ False dilemma
👉 Excerpt:
“Orbán Viktor and Fidesz = the safe choice”
👉 Technique:
- only two options:
- them
- or chaos / financial loss
👉 Goal:
➡️ narrow the decision space
👉 Effect:
➡️ you stop looking for alternatives
7️⃣ Manipulative rhetorical questions
👉 Excerpt:
“where will the money come from?”
👉 Technique:
- question with no answer → implies there is none
👉 Goal:
➡️ create doubt without proof
👉 Effect:
➡️ “there’s probably no money indeed”
8️⃣ Protector framing (“we will protect you”)
👉 Excerpt:
“we will protect Hungarian interests”
👉 Technique:
- political actor = protector
👉 Goal:
➡️ build emotional attachment
👉 Effect:
➡️ loyalty instead of critical thinking
9️⃣ Positive statistics without context
👉 Excerpt:
“+1 million jobs”
👉 Technique:
- number → without context (compared to what, how?)
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a sense of success
👉 Effect:
➡️ strengthen legitimacy
🔟 Pseudo-rationality
👉 Excerpt:
“strict environmental regulations… like Germany”
👉 Technique:
- inserting a “rational” segment
- to make the whole message seem credible
👉 Goal:
➡️ “this isn’t just propaganda → there are facts too”
👉 Effect:
➡️ lowers critical resistance
🧨 Hidden formula (very important)
👉 full mechanism:
past trauma
- fear of losing money
- external enemy
- simple solution (“we protect you”)
→ “don’t think → fear → choose safety”
⚠️ What makes it especially dangerous
- it’s not built on a single lie → but an emotional chain
- multiple techniques run simultaneously (stacked manipulation)
- validated by personal storytelling (“my parents…”)
➡️ that’s why it works
💬 Short, raw summary (your style)
This message:
- pulls up past fears
- projects them onto a new actor
- creates financial panic
- and leaves only one “safe” choice
➡️ classic fear + money + enemy propaganda

There could hardly be a harsher admission than this: Péter Magyar is preparing for a humiliating defeat in the election! A pitiful figure…
Everyone knows—this is a fact, a well-known fact—that Fidesz cheats in elections. The same person who, over the past two years, has said a hundred times that Fidesz cannot cheat in elections. And now, in the final stretch of the campaign, preparing for defeat, stirring emotions, inciting his sect-like followers, we will hear this a million times from him over the next five days—and on Sunday, election day as well—that Fidesz cheats in the election.
No. Fidesz does not cheat in elections. Fidesz has explained to the Hungarian people why it is important to be there on Sunday, and why it is important to vote for a strong national government, for the candidates of the governing parties, and for Viktor Orbán. That is why we will win.
👉 Main narrative
- “opponent = liar + loser”
- “we = clean, legitimate winner”
- “election = already decided, just needs confirmation”
👉 Underlying formula
delegitimization + preemptive framing + emotional agitation + legitimacy building
→ “don’t question → believe → and vote for us”
🔍 Manipulation techniques
1️⃣ Character assassination
👉 Excerpt:
“preparing for a humiliating defeat… a pitiful figure”
👉 Technique:
does not refute the claim → attacks the person
👉 Goal:
➡️ complete discrediting of the source
👉 Effect:
➡️ whatever they say → automatically seen as nonsense / lies
2️⃣ Preemptive framing
👉 Excerpt:
“we’ll hear this a million times from him in the next five days…”
👉 Technique:
predicts the opponent’s message in advance → immediately discredits it
👉 Goal:
➡️ inoculate the audience against the opponent’s message
👉 Effect:
➡️ when it actually appears → it no longer has impact (“we’ve already heard this, propaganda”)
3️⃣ Illusory truth effect (“everyone knows” narrative)
👉 Excerpt:
“everyone knows… it’s a known fact…”
👉 Technique:
presents a claim as common knowledge without evidence
👉 Goal:
➡️ shut down debate without argument
👉 Effect:
➡️ you don’t verify → you accept
4️⃣ Enemy demonization + “sect” framing
👉 Excerpt:
“inciting sect members”
👉 Technique:
opponent’s supporters = irrational, manipulated crowd
👉 Goal:
➡️ delegitimize not only the politician but also their voters
👉 Effect:
➡️ “they don’t think → we do”
5️⃣ Assertion without evidence
👉 Excerpt:
“No. Fidesz does not cheat in elections.”
👉 Technique:
simple, categorical statement → without proof
👉 Goal:
➡️ project strength and confidence
👉 Effect:
➡️ uncertain people → more likely to accept it
6️⃣ Bandwagon / inevitability framing
👉 Excerpt:
“That’s why we will win.”
👉 Technique:
presents victory as a given fact
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a sense of belonging to the winning side
👉 Effect:
➡️ undecided voters → gravitate toward the “winner”
7️⃣ Deflection
👉 Excerpt:
does not address the actual accusations → focuses on the opponent’s motives
👉 Technique:
shifts the question from:
“is it true?” → to → “why is he saying it?”
👉 Goal:
➡️ avoid discussing facts
👉 Effect:
➡️ the debate shifts to an emotional level
🎯 Overall picture
This is a classic late-campaign communication:
- preemptively defends against an expected narrative
- personally discredits the opponent
- uses simple, strong assertions (without evidence)
- builds a sense of inevitable victory
👉 The goal is not to clarify the truth, but to:
➡️ stabilize the emotional state of the base
➡️ sway undecided voters
➡️ preemptively neutralize the opponent’s message

👉 What’s at stake in the election is also how much money stays in our pockets!
According to Péter Felcsuti, the author of the leaked “Tisza package,” if Péter Magyar were to come to power, he would abolish utility cost reductions, the 14th-month pension, personal income tax exemptions for mothers, and “a lot of other measures introduced by Fidesz.” According to the Tisza expert, these are “nonsense.”
🟠 We, on the other hand, will protect the wallets and security of Hungarian families! This Sunday, let’s show in large numbers: Fidesz is the safe choice!
That’s why we say this election is about your wallet, because a Tisza expert has spoken and explained what he thinks about the current measures. Take a look yourselves at what, in my opinion, should be eliminated. I consider these to be the greatest nonsense.
So the question is: if there is a change of system, what will the new government be able to keep from the currently distributed benefits? Whether it’s tax exemptions for women, or the continued payment of the 14th-month pension, or whether they will be forced to cut these, scale them back, or tighten fiscal policy.
I believe that all of these measures you mentioned are, in fact, the greatest nonsense—including, for example, what you didn’t mention: utility price protection (as it is commonly called). And many other things introduced by Fidesz as well.
🧠 What is actually happening in this message?
👉 Main narrative
- “the opponent = will take your money”
- “we = will protect your wallet”
- “the election = personal financial survival”
➡️ basic formula:
money + fear + security + simplification
→ “if you don’t vote for us → you will be worse off”
🔍 Influence techniques
1️⃣ Economic fear framing
👉 Excerpt:
“how much will remain in our pockets”
“they would abolish utility price cuts, the 14th month pension…”
👉 Technique:
- projects direct, everyday financial loss
- not abstract politics → immediate personal impact
👉 Goal:
➡️ trigger instant anxiety
👉 Effect:
➡️ you don’t analyze → you want to protect yourself
2️⃣ Single source amplification
👉 Excerpt:
“Péter Felcsuti stated…”
👉 Technique:
- one person’s opinion → presented as an entire political program
👉 Goal:
➡️ create simple, easy-to-understand “evidence”
👉 Effect:
➡️ you don’t ask:
- is this an official position?
- is it taken out of context?
3️⃣ Labeling and discrediting
👉 Excerpt:
“these are nonsense”
👉 Technique:
- not a professional debate
- but dismissive labeling
👉 Goal:
➡️ make the policies and the opponent look ridiculous
👉 Effect:
➡️ emotional reaction instead of rational evaluation
4️⃣ False simplification
👉 Core message:
“they will take it away → we will protect it”
👉 Technique:
- complex economic issues → black-and-white choice
👉 Goal:
➡️ simplify decision-making
👉 Effect:
➡️ you stop considering alternatives
5️⃣ “We are the safe choice” framing
👉 Excerpt:
“Fidesz is the safe choice”
👉 Technique:
- own side = stability
- other side = risk
👉 Goal:
➡️ preserve the status quo
👉 Effect:
➡️ you stick with what feels familiar
6️⃣ Selective quoting / distortion
👉 What happens:
- from a longer, nuanced statement
→ a part is extracted
→ and built into a narrative
👉 Goal:
➡️ create a simple, powerful message
👉 Effect:
➡️ you don’t see the full context
⚠️ Bottom line
This message is not really about presenting reality in detail, but about:
➡️ creating fear (financial loss)
➡️ offering a simple enemy image
➡️ providing a sense of security in return
🧩 What you should always ask in these cases
- Is this an official program or just an opinion?
- Is this a full quote or taken out of context?
- Is there concrete evidence for the “abolition” claims?
- What alternative explanations exist?
