Another huge danger is threatening Europe: 4 million Afghans and several million Iranian illegal migrants could set out toward our continent and the Hungarian borders.

While major Western European cities, in the spirit of “Willkommenskultur,” allowed migration to tear apart their security and culture, we were the first to say no to immigration and to show that we have the strength and the will to defend our borders and our safe everyday lives.

We can promise one thing for certain: as long as we have a national government, we will protect Hungary from the irreversible dangers of migration.

Viktor Orbán has stood firmly against illegal immigration from the very first moment, and he is the only one who will continue to be able to protect the safety of Hungarian families. On April 12, Fidesz is the only safe choice!

So then, hello there — are you interested in four million Afghan migrants? I certainly am not. I’m glad that, thanks to the migration policy of recent years, we have managed to keep them out of Hungary. But the European Union may well be interested, because over the past years the effects of “Willkommenskultur” have become clearly visible, especially in major Western European cities.

I very much hope that on April 12 people will vote wisely and once again elect the government that has a very firm anti-migration, anti-illegal-immigration policy.

The fact is that the uncontrolled influx of migration has severely damaged Europe’s major cities in terms of security, culture, and demography. So let us not go down that dead-end street that many Western European countries have already turned into.

Even if, in the current situation, because of the Middle Eastern conflict, European institutions themselves are alarmed and believe that a brutal migration wave may be coming, everyone can be sure of one thing: the man who first raised his voice against migration, who first built a fence not only to protect Hungary’s borders but also Europe’s borders, will continue to stand firm against migration — and that man is Viktor Orbán.

🧩 Hidden Formula

fear + exaggeration + enemy image + comparison + savior + forced electoral choice

🧠 Influence Techniques (in detail)

1️⃣ Fear-mongering (existential level)

Excerpt:
“4 million Afghans and several million Iranians… may set off”

Technique:
➡️ huge numbers (without verified context)
➡️ direct threat (“toward Hungarian borders”)

Goal:
➡️ trigger panic and uncertainty

Effect:
➡️ “this is no longer politics, this is danger”

2️⃣ Apocalyptic framing

Excerpt:
“irreversible dangers”
“has destroyed security and culture”

Technique:
➡️ portrayal of final, irreversible decline
➡️ no middle ground

Goal:
➡️ create urgency (“we must decide now”)

Effect:
➡️ “if we make a mistake now, everything is lost”

3️⃣ Overgeneralization + simplification

Excerpt:
“Migration has destroyed Western Europe’s major cities”

Technique:
➡️ complex social issues → reduced to a single cause
➡️ entire regions treated as homogeneous

Goal:
➡️ create a simple, easy-to-digest narrative

Effect:
➡️ “it’s bad there → we must avoid it here”

4️⃣ “Us vs Them” framing

Excerpt:
“we protected” vs “they allowed it”

Technique:
➡️ moral division
➡️ our side = strong, responsible
➡️ their side = weak, incompetent

Goal:
➡️ strengthen group identity

Effect:
➡️ “we are good, they are dangerous”

5️⃣ External enemy + cultural threat

Excerpt:
“destroys culture”
“undermines security”

Technique:
➡️ not just physical, but cultural threat
➡️ targets identity

Goal:
➡️ trigger deeper emotional response (not just fear, but defensiveness)

Effect:
➡️ “this is about who we are”

6️⃣ Savior narrative (strongman framing)

Excerpt:
“he is the only one who can protect…”

Technique:
➡️ reduces choice to a single leader
➡️ excludes all alternatives

Goal:
➡️ tie security to a person

Effect:
➡️ “without him → no protection”

7️⃣ Forced choice (false dilemma)

Excerpt:
“only Fidesz is the safe choice”

Technique:
➡️ two options: security vs danger
➡️ no third option

Goal:
➡️ simplify decision-making

Effect:
➡️ “not voting for them = risk”

8️⃣ Repetition (reinforcement)

Technique:
➡️ repeating the same message in multiple forms:

  • danger
  • migration
  • protection
  • Orbán

Goal:
➡️ embed the narrative

Effect:
➡️ “familiar = feels true”

⚠️ Why this is classic fear-based propaganda

  • no concrete sources for the numbers
  • presents an extreme future scenario
  • simplifies complex issues
  • relies on emotional reaction (not data)
  • links political choice to survival

🎯 Summary (one sentence)

👉 The text aims to create fear through an exaggerated and threatening image of migration, then channel that fear toward a single political choice (“only they can protect us”).
