Good evening, Győr. Good evening, Hungarians!
I was in Veszprém today, and I came from there to you now.
Veszprém is a very difficult constituency, much like the people here.
There, it is very hard to gain people’s trust, and even harder to keep it.
And it is not easy in Győr either.
There is also a third kind of people here in the square.
Somewhere back there, in the half-darkness, they are making noise, whistling, drumming.
They are the people of anger, hatred, and destruction.
Meanwhile, we have continuously created investments and new jobs.
So thanks and recognition — first of all to Péter Szijjártó, your fellow countryman.
And the Tisza supporters can whistle all they want.
If they are already here, let there be some meaning to it.
If it weren’t so cold, and if I didn’t feel sorry for them,
I could speak at length about the situation with the Ukrainians.
Ladies and gentlemen, when the war broke out and Ukraine was attacked,
we did everything we could for the Ukrainians.
Our Christian conscience is clear in this regard.
But I see that Ukraine has turned Hungary into an operational field for intelligence services.
Where do their spies go?
To journalists, to the Tisza Party. Good evening to you as well.
They come and go as if this were an open house.
Whistle to that back there, dear Tisza supporters.
Whistle to that.
You are pushing Ukraine’s cart instead of standing with Hungarians.
You want a pro-Ukrainian government, and you want to take Hungarians’ money to Ukraine.
That is the truth.
Since you are here, let’s tell them this:
these problems do not come one by one like in a Piedone movie,
where you can deal with them individually — they come all at once.
There is not a single sane person in Hungary — not even on the other side —
who wants war.
In 2026, we — and only we — are capable of saying no to Ukraine.
I understand those Tisza supporters whistling in the back.
They want to come to power.
But what Hungary needs is experience and security.
And I promise that if you support this, I will provide it.
What is needed here is a clear mind, a cool head, and a steady hand.
And I tell you: today, the safe choice is Fidesz.
The Tisza supporters can wait.
Life is not just two days.
Thank you for this beautiful evening you gave me.
And thanks to the Tisza supporters for the musical background.
And I say goodbye with gratitude —
for the past 36 years I could spend with you.
I am grateful to many of you for putting up with me every evening
in your living rooms, on your television screens.
We are boys — or men — we do not get emotional in public.
There is no place for that.
And the Prime Minister must make it clear that he can handle anything.
Not even a bullet can harm him.
The Tisza supporters can make noise, and even Volodymyr Zelenskyy can threaten — it doesn’t matter.
But let me tell you, now that we are together:
The Prime Minister is human too.
