“Would the visit fee return?”

There was a visit fee. Would it now return?
According to TISZA’s plans, the state would withdraw from the current social health insurance system, new private insurers would enter the market, and employees would be required to contract with them. This would result in a much more expensive system, and the money freed up could then be spent on the war in Ukraine.

But what would this mean for families? Children would not even have insurance, healthcare would be privatized, and only those who have insurance with a private provider would receive care.

We say no to this. We want universal health insurance, and we want the security of the current system to remain in place for ordinary Hungarian people.
