orban propaganda

🇪🇺 Apart from those who deny reality, it is becoming increasingly clear to most of us what is actually happening now between the EU leadership and the Tisza party.

‼ Ursula and Manfred Weber are not running a charity, and they are certainly not handing out public support and friendly pats on the back for free. Let’s not kid ourselves into thinking that the EPP president casually announced at a European Parliament session that he expects Péter Magyar to take the helm of government in Hungary after April 2026 just out of goodwill. This is a political alliance in which both sides are expected to serve the other’s interests.

In plain terms: EU leaders do not like Hungary’s right-wing leadership because it vetoes and disagrees with them on migration and the war. To enforce their own interests, they need a Hungarian government that joins the EU mainstream. That is why Ursula and Manfred are openly campaigning for Tisza and, clearly, also providing financial support for Magyar’s campaign. See, for example, the 120 million forints in funding received by 444, which has effectively been reduced to pushing Tisza’s cart.

However. Ursula and Weber are not the Maltese charity service. They do not donate anything. Support is not given for free. In return, they expect concrete performance from those they back. For example, what has come to light in recent days: Tisza’s task is to sell to Hungarians that contributing to Ukrainian aid, or taking out loans to rebuild a foreign country, is “business” for Hungary. A good business opportunity, as can be inferred from the words of Zoltán Tarr.

Then there is the issue of migration, where Tisza would also be expected to deliver what is required. The Hungarian government currently rejects the idea that Hungarians should pay a “head fee” for migrants whom various EU countries have allowed in without any checks since 2015, and who are now causing enormous chaos across Europe. And Orbán’s government is not only saying no to the “head fee,” but also to the so-called redistribution that replaces it. Because Hungarians will not subsidize 20-year-old Abduls who, lacking papers and real identities, clearly do not intend to work in battery factories if they come here. They do not intend to work anywhere, as we can see in many EU countries.

And we have not even talked about the worst part yet. I read the news that a court ruling caused outrage in Italy after a man was sentenced to only five years in prison for raping a ten-year-old girl, as reported by Index. In the case, a 29-year-old man of Bangladeshi origin was convicted after raping the girl in a reception center. As a result of the crime, the child became pregnant. The sexual assault took place in a reception center converted from a former hotel, where the girl lived with her mother. A stomach-churning story. And the Italians once made a bad decision that has now led to consequences like this. Not to mention that many places in Italy have become almost unvisitable for tourists because of the migration situation.

One bad decision. While many people, wearing blinders, ignore the completely obvious fact that Brussels expects performance from Péter Magyar and his team. That is what really matters.

🎭 Central Narrative

“Brussels has struck a secret deal with the Tisza party, and in return expects Péter Magyar to give up Hungarian national interests.”

This is not evidence-based argumentation, but conspiracy framing, designed to force an emotional conclusion:
whoever supports Tisza is serving foreign interests.

1️⃣ Background-power narrative, personalized

Designated actors:

  • Ursula von der Leyen
  • Manfred Weber
  • European Parliament

🔹 Technique: personalized conspiracy
🔹 Effect:
– the EU is no longer an institution, but “Ursula + Manfred”
– this makes it easy to attribute moral intent (“they campaign”, “they finance”)

👉 Trick: there is no contract, no decision, no document — only insinuation.

2️⃣ Guilt by association

  • Tisza Party
  • Péter Magyar

🔹 Technique: associative guilt
🔹 Logic:
Brussels = bad → Brussels supports → Tisza = bad

👉 There is no need to say “Péter Magyar said this”; it is enough to claim that
“performance is expected from them.”

3️⃣ Economic fear-mongering using the word “business”

🔹 Technique: framing + distortion
– “aid to Ukraine” → “business”
– “joint borrowing” → “rebuilding a foreign country with Hungarian money”

👉 Trick:
what is never stated:

  • the actual amount,
  • the financial structure,
  • Hungary’s real obligations.

Only the emotional label remains.

4️⃣ Migration = moral panic + dehumanization

“20-year-old Abduls”
“they don’t want to work”
“they cause chaos”

🔹 Techniques:

  • ethnic simplification
  • collective guilt
  • projection of future threat

👉 Goal:
to prevent political debate about migration and replace it with disgust and fear.

5️⃣ Using a shocking crime as a political weapon

The violent crime committed in Italy:

🔹 Technique: emotional blackmail
🔹 Logical fallacy:
an individual crime → condemnation of an entire migration policy

👉 A classic propaganda device:
a real tragedy → a generalized political judgment

6️⃣ False dichotomy (no third option)

Final message:

  • either Orbán
  • or Brussels + chaos + migrants + crime

🔹 Technique: exclusivity
🔹 Effect: traps undecided voters in an emotional dilemma

7️⃣ The unspoken opponent: Viktor Orbán

He is rarely mentioned directly, but:

  • “they veto”
  • “they say no”
  • “they protect”

👉 The text does not build a positive identity — it only constructs an enemy.

🎯 One-sentence summary

This text does not inform. Instead, it
👉 manufactures fear,
👉 conflates issues,
👉 provokes moral panic,
👉 and pre-decides for you who is “good” and who is a “traitor.”

Péter Takács, State Secretary for Health at the Ministry of the Interior, is a disgrace to Hungary.

Good morning, everyone!
I’ll be starting shortly on Magyar Péter’s favorite show, The Hour of Truth, together with Németh Balázs.

According to Péter, this show is so insignificant that nobody watches it. That’s why he sends a thousand paid commenters under every single episode to write that nobody watches this show.

By the way, we won’t be watching it either. Neither Balázs nor I.

If we had a dog, maybe the dog would watch it. It’s like Big Brother. Nobody watched that either, right? I didn’t watch it. You didn’t watch it either.

Personally, I only watch serious classical music programs and black-and-white documentaries on TV.

Still, I’ll post the link under the video — but don’t watch it, don’t click on it. Péter doesn’t want you to watch it, so don’t click on it.

1️⃣ Belittling + paradox attention-grabbing

“This show is so insignificant that nobody watches it.”
→ while a long post is written about it, complete with a link.

🔹 Technique: dismissal framing
🔹 The trick:

  • If it were truly insignificant, they wouldn’t be talking about it
  • The “don’t watch it” instruction actually generates curiosity

👉 Goal:

  • Discredit the show without engaging in a substantive debate
  • Capture attention while simultaneously denying the show’s relevance

2️⃣ Paid-commenter narrative (without evidence)

“A thousand paid commenters are deployed under every episode.”

🔹 Technique: conspiracy insinuation + delegitimization
🔹 Problem:

  • No data, no evidence, no sources
  • Criticism cannot be genuine, only “paid for”

👉 Effect:

  • Pre-emptively invalidating audience reactions
  • Morally downgrading the critical audience

3️⃣ Elitist self-positioning (moral and cultural superiority)

“I only watch classical music and black-and-white documentaries.”

🔹 Technique: signaling cultural superiority
🔹 Message:

  • “We are cultured”
  • “Those who watch this are primitive”

👉 Goal:

  • Self-justification of one’s own camp
  • Portraying the opposing audience as tasteless and inferior

4️⃣ Mockery + infantilization

“If we had a dog, maybe the dog would watch it.”

🔹 Technique: ridicule framing
🔹 What actually happens?

  • No engagement with the content itself
  • The audience is humiliated instead

👉 Effect:

  • The debate is shut down on an emotional level
  • Viewers are pushed into a position of shame

5️⃣ “Való Világ” comparison – false analogy

“It’s like Való Világ. Nobody watched that either.”

🔹 Technique: false comparison
🔹 The flaw:

  • A public-affairs program ≠ a reality show
  • Categories are deliberately blurred

👉 Goal:

  • Degrading political content into tabloid entertainment
  • Trivializing public debate

6️⃣ Reverse call to action (reverse CTA)

“I’ll post the link, but don’t click it.”

🔹 Technique: prohibition → curiosity
🔹 Well-known psychology:

  • The forbidden-fruit effect
  • “Don’t do it” increases the urge to do it

👉 Real function:

  • Driving traffic
  • Later used as a reference point: “see, people are watching it anyway”

🧩 Overall picture – what is this really?

This is not an opinion, but framing:

❌ no substantive debate
❌ no rebuttal
❌ no fact-checking

✔️ instead, there is:

  • discrediting
  • mockery
  • elitist self-promotion
  • audience polarization

The goal of the statement is not truth, but to render both the show and its audience unfit for debate.

2026.01.15 This is Hungary’s shame

“He was running his daughter; the girls made money too. Everyone benefited, right?”

Nagy Feró made this remark at the Peace March about the Szőllő Street case, in which the former director of a Budapest juvenile correctional institute was arrested in May on suspicion of human trafficking and forced labor.
When Telex asked him what he meant by this, he explained that we don’t know whether the girls were forced into prostitution or did it voluntarily.

Several politicians later reacted to his statement. Dobrev Klára said that anyone who speaks about victims this way is not worthy of the Kossuth Prize, nor of being held up as an example to anyone. Lázár János also commented, saying that the government does not revoke Kossuth Prizes. Meanwhile, a municipal councilor in Őrbottyán called for Nagy Feró to be stripped of his honorary citizenship of the town.

At the same time, the government side did not rally behind him either. Vitályos Eszter distanced herself from his remarks. Bayer Zsolt asked Nagy Feró to apologize—as a man should—and then have a drink together. The musician initially told him to go to a warmer climate as well.

Eventually, however, the ice began to break. In a program on HírTV, the musician said that he apologizes to the girls.

‼️According to Brussels, the “price of peace” is €90 billion in joint borrowing€60 billion of it for weapons.
This is not a peace plan. It is a war budget, and its cost will be paid by Hungarian families.

📉 While Europe’s competitiveness is rapidly declining, energy prices are sky-high, and farmers and businesses are struggling, Brussels is pushing for new debt to finance a prolonged war.

🇭🇺 Hungary’s position has been clear since the start of the war: we need peace, not weapons.
What is needed is negotiation, not a war financed by loans.

Peace does not cost €90 billion.
War does.

❌ And we want no part of it.

lászló kövér National Assembly of Hungary

But how can we be sure that he is lying? Not only because his mouth is moving, but also because these very ideas are openly discussed by experts of the Tisza Party, because Brussels is demanding their implementation, and because the same discredited and compromised left-wing experts and politicians who now support the Tisza Party have already carried them out in the past.

So how can we be sure that our concerns are justified? Because we know the plans of the left-wing opposition, laid out in more than 600 pages. Péter Magyar, of course, claims that they have nothing to do with this document. But how can we be sure that he is lying? Not only because his mouth is moving, but also because Tisza Party experts talk about these measures, Brussels demands their implementation, and because from László Lengyel through Surányi and Bokros to János Kóka, these same figures carried them out when they and their ideological allies came to power.

They impoverished and made not only the people but the entire country vulnerable. They dismantled the state, drove it into debt, and stripped it of its assets. Let us not forget what they did after 2002, what we lost under the governments of Medgyessy, Gyurcsány, and Bajnai, when they merely pretended to govern.

Secondly, we could lose the freedom we regained over three and a half decades ago: democracy, the rule of law, and our sovereignty. Why can we think this? Fortunately—or unfortunately—in this regard, neither the words nor the actions and behavior of Péter Magyar and his neo-Bolshevik shock troops leave any doubt about how they think about constitutional institutions and rules, the independence of the judiciary and freedom of the press, the rights and human dignity of those who disagree with them, the national interest, and the permissibility of foreign influence bought with money.

We could lose our way of life, our culture, our freedom to define ourselves and to raise our children. We could lose our homeland, because Brussels is increasingly openly and shamelessly trying to degrade the European Union’s theoretically equal and independent member states into subordinate provinces.

🎭 Core Narrative

“There is no need to prove that he is lying — it is enough that we say so.”

The purpose of the text is not persuasion, but the total destruction of trust in the opponent, while carefully avoiding any concrete evidence.

1️⃣ “How can we be sure that he is lying?” — Self-Justifying Loop

🔹 Technique: circular reasoning
🔹 How it works:

The accusation of lying is not derived from facts, but from presumed intent.

He is lying because he is left-wing” → “He is left-wing because he is lying.”

👉 Propaganda function:
Eliminates the need for proof.
No data is required — identity alone is sufficient.

2️⃣ “Not only because his mouth is moving” — Dehumanization

🔹 Technique: linguistic degradation
🔹 Effect:

The opponent is no longer a rational actor, but a biological reflex.

Lying is not a decision, but a “natural state.”

👉 A classic enemy-construction method that excludes debate.

3️⃣ “A 600-page document” — The Myth of the Secret Plan

🔹 Technique: phantom evidence

🔹 The trick:

The document is never quoted, never shown.

Denial (“we had nothing to do with it”) becomes proof of lying in itself.

👉 Conspiracy logic:

  • If you deny it → you’re guilty
  • If you stay silent → you’re guilty

4️⃣ “Brussels demands it” — The External Control Narrative

🔹 Technique: sovereignty-threat framing

🔹 Claim:

There are no domestic decisions.

The opponent is a puppet, not a political actor.

👉 Goal:
Transform the election into a choice not between programs, but between treason vs. homeland.

5️⃣ Listing Names — Collective Guilt

Named figures:

  • László Lengyel
  • György Surányi
  • Lajos Bokros
  • János Kóka

🔹 Technique: historical guilt transfer
🔹 False logic:

If someone once belonged to a political camp,
they are forever and universally responsible.

👉 This is not analysis, but a weapon of memory politics.

6️⃣ Demonizing 2002–2010 — Temporal Panic

Named prime ministers:

  • Péter Medgyessy
  • Ferenc Gyurcsány
  • Gordon Bajnai

🔹 Technique: activation of historical trauma
🔹 Problem:

No evaluation.
No context.
No distinction between policy and myth.

👉 Message:
“If it’s not us, it’s them — and then everything will be lost.”

7️⃣ “We could lose our freedom” — Total Fear-Mongering

🔹 Technique: existential panic narrative

Threat list:

  • democracy
  • rule of law
  • press freedom
  • culture
  • child-rearing
  • national existence

👉 Trick:
Threaten everything at once → prove nothing at all.

8️⃣ “Brussels reduces us to provinces” — Imperial Metaphor

🔹 Technique: colonization narrative
🔹 Effect:
The EU is framed not as a political community, but as a hostile empire.

👉 This is not EU criticism — it is the preparation of exit logic.

🎯 Conclusion — What Is Actually Happening?

This text:

❌ does not debate
❌ does not prove
❌ does not analyze

✅ programs emotion
✅ manufactures enemies
✅ labels criticism as treason

The unspoken core message:

“Don’t think. Be afraid. And vote.”

Eszter Vitályos is Hungary’s shame…

Government Spokesperson, State Secretary responsible for Government Communication

They can no longer deny it! They would take everything away from Hungarian families! We must stay alert — the stakes are serious!

Ukraine is demanding 800 billion dollars from the member states of the European Union to finance the next ten years. From that amount, we could fund pensions for forty years and family support programs for sixty years. And the question of how the European Commission intends to make us pay for all this is detailed in this report.

The report was compiled by the Ministry for European Union Affairs, and it contains every proposal and directive that the European Commission has intended for Hungary.

Just to mention the most important ones: they would abolish the 13th and 14th month pensions. They would eliminate family support programs and once again push for the introduction of progressive taxation.

On April 12, we will have to decide on this as well. Will Hungary continue to support Hungarian families, or will we embark on a path where the focus is on war and the financing of Ukraine? I believe the choice is simple. The Fidesz–KDNP government has already proven itself — we stand on the side of Hungarian families.

1️⃣ “Ukraine is demanding 800 billion dollars” → shock-number narrative

Technique: intimidation through large numbers
An unchecked, context-free figure (“800 billion dollars”) is thrown into the discourse to trigger an immediate emotional reaction.

👉 Propaganda function:
It doesn’t matter whether it’s true — only whether it sounds frightening.

👉 What is omitted:

  • no time breakdown
  • no source
  • no legal framework
  • no distinction between a demand, a negotiating position, and an approved obligation

2️⃣ “We could fund everything for 40–60 years from this” → false comparison

Technique: manipulated opportunity cost (fake trade-off)

👉 The trick:
A non-existent financial flow is compared to domestic spending, as if:

  • the EU budget = the Hungarian state budget
  • every euro sent to Ukraine comes directly out of Hungarian pensioners’ pockets

👉 Reality:
The EU’s common budget does not work this way. The calculation is deliberately misleading.

3️⃣ “The European Commission would make us pay for it” → collective scapegoating

Technique: external enemy construction
The European Commission is portrayed as a faceless, threatening power.

👉 Message:

  • “they dictate”
  • “we are only defending ourselves”

👉 Omitted fact:
The Commission does not issue diktats; it submits proposals negotiated with the member states.

4️⃣ “They would abolish the 13th and 14th month pensions, eliminate family benefits” → fear-based packaging

Technique: existential threat framing

👉 Propaganda function:
The listener begins to fear for their own livelihood, experiencing the election not as a political choice but as a survival dilemma.

👉 The problem:

  • no specific legislation
  • no adopted decision
  • no EU resolution

👉 This is speculation presented as fact.

5️⃣ “Progressive taxation” → ideological scarecrow

Technique: activation of an internal enemy
“Progressive taxation” is framed as a left-wing punishment.

👉 Goal:
To trigger instant rejection and exclude any substantive policy debate.

6️⃣ “On April 12, we must decide on this as well” → false electoral stakes

Technique: binary trap

👉 The choice is falsely reduced to two options:

  • Hungarian families
  • war + Ukraine

👉 All other options are excluded, such as:

  • conditional support
  • EU-level bargaining
  • domestic economic policy adjustments

7️⃣ “Fidesz–KDNP has already proven itself” → self-justifying closure

Technique: self-glorifying authority
Fidesz–KDNP presents itself as the sole protector.

👉 Instead of evidence: nostalgia — without metrics.

🔚 Overall picture — what is actually happening?

This text:

  • does not calculate, it intimidates
  • does not inform, it instills fear
  • is not an electoral program, but a framework of coercion
  • is not about an EU debate, but about a loyalty test

The real issue is not Ukraine,
not the EU,
not pensions.

👉 The real question is:
Do you believe that only one party can protect you from everything?

This is classic campaign propaganda — not public policy debate.

Orbán, war, Ukraine, and Szandi

Every young Hungarian has the right to know:
anyone who votes for the Tisza Party or the Democratic Coalition is voting against their own future.

Those who choose these parties may end up paying Ukrainian war bonds for the rest of their lives, while Tisza’s Brussels bosses would conscript them into the military.

Hungarian young people deserve a far better future than this.
Use your common sense, and this spring choose the only safe path: Fidesz.

nora kiraly… fiedesz propagand…

🌍 Europe’s public attention is increasingly turning toward Hungary.
This is not about opinions, but about analyses: in the international arena, the continuation of the current political direction is being taken seriously as a real scenario.

📰 Politico and The Economist both examine the upcoming elections in detail, highlighting in their analyses the stable social base behind the current course.

🗳️ In April, however, it is we Hungarians who will decide what future we want:
🛡️ security or uncertainty,
📊 predictability or risk,
🇭🇺 independent decision-making or submission to external pressure.

🌱 What is at stake in this election is whether we can preserve the stability on which families, communities, and future generations can safely build.

The propaganda schema used (classic Fidesz template)

1️⃣ “Not opinion, but analysis” – pseudo-objectivity

“This is not about opinions, but about analyses”

This functions as a rhetorical shield:

  • it pre-emptively excludes debate,
  • anyone who disagrees is framed as “not understanding the analysis,”
  • it appeals to authority instead of providing evidence.

👉 Authority framing

2️⃣ Importing external legitimacy

“Politico and The Economist…”

Two Western media brands are invoked:

  • Politico
  • The Economist

The trick:

  • no specific quotes,
  • no links,
  • no clarification of what they actually say.

👉 Selective referencing / cherry-picked legitimacy

3️⃣ “Stable social base” – replacing reality with narrative

This is a macro-phrase without content:

  • no data,
  • no indicators,
  • no social breakdown.

👉 Narrative substitution
(if repeated often enough, it sounds true)

4️⃣ False binary choice

security or uncertainty
predictability or risk
independence or external pressure

This is not a real choice, but a guided dilemma:

  • Fidesz = good, safe, Hungarian
  • everything else = dangerous, foreign, imposed

👉 False dilemma / binary framing

5️⃣ “We, Hungarians” – appropriated national identity

“it is we Hungarians who will decide”

The sentence appears inclusive, but in reality:

  • anyone who disagrees is implicitly placed outside the “we.”

👉 In-group / out-group framing

6️⃣ Appeal to the future – shifting moral responsibility

“families, communities, future generations”

This is an emotional closure:

  • it does not prove anything,
  • it applies moral pressure,
  • it shifts responsibility onto the voter:
“if you choose wrong, you endanger the future.”

👉 Moral pressure framing

Why does it feel “ChatGPT-like”?

Not because AI necessarily wrote it, but because it is:

  • formulaic,
  • conflict-free,
  • emotion-driven,
  • risk-averse political marketing language.

This is not hatred — it is:
👉 sterile, centrally optimized narrative output,
which today humans and AI produce in exactly the same way.

Summary – why no one is surprised

Because this is not Király Nóra’s text in any meaningful sense, but:

  • a plug-and-play Fidesz communication block,
  • something that could be signed by almost anyone in the system.

Not new. Not unique. Not thinking.
And that is exactly why it is immediately recognizable.

andre paloc … growment propagand…

In 2025, the average old-age pension in Hungary was €650.12.

What does the year 2026 mean for pensioners?
Well, it does not only mean the arrival of the 13th-month pension — which was introduced by this government after the left had phased it out — but also that the introduction of the 14th-month pension will begin. Pensioners will receive the first weekly installment together with the payment of the 13th-month pension.

1️⃣ First: linguistically and substantively clarified version (statement of facts)

What actually happens with pensions in 2026:

  • The 13th-month pension is equal to the monthly pension after the January 2026 increase,
and it is paid together with the regular February pension.
  • The so-called “14th-month pension” is not a full extra month.
In 2026, it amounts to only one quarter of a monthly pension,
i.e. the equivalent of one week’s pension.
  • The system is phased:
    • each year +1 additional week is added,
    • it reaches the value of one full monthly pension by 2030.

👉 Therefore, in February 2026 pensioners do not receive “14 months of pension”,
but 2 and 1/4 months in total.

2️⃣ What does the propaganda do? (technical breakdown)

The quoted claim:

“not only does the 13th-month pension arrive, which this government introduced after the left phased it out, but the introduction of the 14th-month pension also begins”

🔴 1. Linguistic inflation

  • 14th-month pension” sounds like two full extra monthly payments
  • In reality: one week

👉 Name ≠ substance

🔴 2. Temporal distortion (future framing)

  • It suggests pensioners are receiving it now
  • In reality:
    • now: 1/4 month
    • full amount: four years later

👉 A future promise sold as a present reward

🔴 3. Historical reframing

  • “the left phased it out”
  • Without context:
    • economic crisis
    • IMF agreement
    • forced austerity

👉 It does not explain — it creates a scapegoat

🔴 4. The illusion of a double gift

In February:

  • regular pension
  • full monthly amount
    • one extra week

All paid in one transfer → creates a “wow, that’s a lot” feeling,
while on an annual level the increase is minimal.

3️⃣ The most important thing that “must not be said”

In a normally functioning economy,
pensions would be value-preserving by default,
not patched up with campaign bonuses.

The 13th–14th month narrative is not a welfare system, but:

  • a cover for missing inflation indexation
  • politically timed payouts
  • emotional manipulation (“we gave back what others took away”)

4️⃣ Short, punchy counter-comment (if you want to use it)

“Let’s not call one extra week per year a 14th-month pension.
This is not an additional benefit, but a communication trick.
In a normal economy, the elderly are protected not with campaign bonuses,
but with pensions that retain their real value.”

orban propaganda never stop

Eight hundred billion euros. It’s unbelievable what Brussels expects from us. This is not our war, and it should not be our money. The Ukrainian prime minister announced that they would need 800 billion euros to be able to continue the war — and this does not even include the costs of warfare. They would make Europe pay this amount, but we Hungarians will not allow it. For us, our families, our businesses, and our pensioners come first. Hungary is the voice of peace in Europe, and we will protect Hungarians’ money. Here in Abaúj and Zemplén, every forint matters, and nationally we must also protect the money we have earned with hard work. The current national government can guarantee that peace is maintained and that the money stays with Hungarian families and continues to grow there. Let us not allow Brussels to drag us into war and make us pay for the costs of war. Let us stand up for Hungarian interests and for peace.

Propaganda & Rhetorical Breakdown

1️⃣ “800 billion euros” as a shock trigger

“Eight hundred billion euros. It’s unbelievable…”

Technique:
👉 Shock number framing

  • Opens with a huge figure without context
  • No clarification of:
    • time frame
    • categories
    • source or methodology
    • what is included or excluded

Effect:
The number is meant to paralyze emotionally, not inform.
Fear replaces critical thinking.

2️⃣ “This is not our war” → false ownership framing

“This is not our war, and it should not be our money.”

Technique:
👉 Moral disengagement + ownership exclusion

  • Detaches the conflict from:
    • European security
    • alliance obligations
    • geopolitical consequences

Logical flaw:
Economic and security impacts cannot be opted out of by declaration.

3️⃣ “The Ukrainian prime minister announced” → authority + distortion

“The Ukrainian prime minister announced that they would need…”

Technique:
👉 Appeal to authority + meaning shift

  • A macroeconomic estimate is reframed as:
    • “money to continue the war”
  • The jump from state functioningwar financing is asserted, not proven

Key manipulation:
📌 estimate → bill
📌 long-term projection → immediate threat

4️⃣ “They would make Europe pay” → faceless enemy

“They would make Europe pay this amount”

Technique:
👉 Blurred enemy construction

  • Who is “they”?
  • Through what mechanism?
  • By whose decision?

Effect:
“Europe / Brussels” becomes a nameless aggressor, enabling fear without accountability.

5️⃣ “We Hungarians will not allow it” → collective appropriation

“But we Hungarians will not allow it.”

Technique:
👉 Us-vs-them framing + leader–nation fusion

  • The speaker claims to embody the nation
  • Disagreement implicitly becomes un-Hungarian

6️⃣ Emotional shield: families – businesses – pensioners

“Our families, our businesses, and our pensioners come first.”

Technique:
👉 Emotional shield argument

  • These values are undisputable
  • Therefore no evidence or policy detail is required

Result:
Foreign policy is turned into moral blackmail.

7️⃣ “Hungary is the voice of peace” → moral monopoly

Technique:
👉 Self-appointed moral superiority

  • Alternative positions are labeled “pro-war”
  • Nuance is eliminated

8️⃣ Local reference (Abaúj, Zemplén) → false proximity link

“Here in Abaúj and Zemplén, every forint matters”

Technique:
👉 Proximity bias

  • No causal link exists between:
    • EU-level financial projections
    • local household finances

But: emotionally extremely effective.

9️⃣ Closing frame: government = peace, others = war

“The current national government can guarantee…”

Technique:
👉 False exclusivity

  • Peace exists only with them
  • Any alternative leads to war

🎯 Overall Assessment

This text does not aim to inform. It aims to:

  • 📌 induce fear
  • 📌 oversimplify complex realities
  • 📌 apply moral pressure
  • 📌 construct false causal chains
  • 📌 suppress alternative thinking

It is campaign-grade propaganda, not policy analysis.
